"Districts" are a group of settlements that are responsible producing, procuring, or refining goods in a particular industry as dictated by the Capitol and to be sent directly to the Capitol citizens in the Hunger Games canon. Originally containing thirteen districts, the thirteenth district is destroyed by the Capitol as means to strike fear to the other rebellious districts.
In the Hunger Games Simulators, the Districts have no purpose except to group Tributes together, although there appears to be features yet to be tested in the Experimental Version.
Functions[]
Different Hunger Games Simulators give different functions to the Districts, and are listed based of the following:
Ripred.net Version[]
In this version, there are only twelve fixed Districts along with twenty four fixed number of Tributes overall. This cannot be changed or modified.
Brantsteele Version[]
Original Version[]
In this version, there are only twelve fixed Districts. Total number of tributes per season can be changed to either twenty four (which is the default amount), thirty six or forty eight.
Experimental Version[]
In this version, the features from the original version are carried over to this version. It now has the ability to add more Districts, with the limit being 200 Districts. Total amount of tributes can also be changed per District and the current limit of tributes is 200. You can also change a District's amount of Tributes to differentiate it from other Districts (e.g. District 1 has seven tributes while District 6 has nine tributes).
Simublast Version[]
In this version, you can add or reduce the overall Districts per season. In theory, it is also possible to play a season with only 1 District, although this needs to be tested yet. Currently, it has a fixed number of two Tributes per District in this version.
